Exact look will vary from neck. We cut our scarf joints so that the visible portion of joint is halfway up head stock, instead on neck. Scarf jointed necks such as ours will show different grain patterns on the head stock. This is a high-quality hand-made cigar box guitar neck with pre-cut and glued scarf-jointed head stock, fully fretted to 25-inch scale length premium nickel-silver fret wire.

There are many other scale lengths used on various instruments, but we chose 25 as a nice middle-of-the-road standard. This is just the nature of gluing pieces wood together to form a larger whole. These are made from premium-quality hardwood stock, and have been rough-sanded, ready to be finished off in your special build.
