I've have described it to the best of my ability but if you any questions, feel free ask. The previous owner had attempted a fretless conversion by simply pulling frets and putting putty in spaces. The back of head stock was signed by some guy that must have been at least semi famous in 90s but I can't figure out who it is. The neck is quite straight - no twists but not perfect either and plays pretty well as it has many years of wear on it, finger board could use some redressing.

I turned it into a very playable bass by replacing the putty with blood wood strips, inlays rosewood dowel, and installing custom Paula abalone side triangles. So here it is, such as is and sold.

Truss rod works fine. Perhaps burnishing with a coarse steel wool or maybe 800 sand paper would do it. The original tuners are somewhat looser for age and wear too but perfectly serviceable.
