Review FRAMUS 1960s Vintage Strato Bass Guitar Neck Tuners

The Framus Strato Bass Guitar Neck Tuners, hailing from the iconic 1960s era, are a testament to the golden age of guitar manufacturing. These tuners are not just components of the instrument, but they embody the essence of a bygone era of craftsmanship and musical innovation.

Crafted with precision and elegance, these tuners boast a vintage aesthetic that is both timeless and sophisticated. The tuning knobs are made of high-quality metal, with a smooth, satin finish that provides a comfortable grip, even during the most intense performances. The knobs feature intricate, geometric designs that add a touch of style and a hint of luxury to the guitar neck.

The tuning mechanisms themselves are a marvel of engineering. The tuners are designed to provide precise and stable tuning, with a 18:1 ratio that ensures every note rings true. The gears are made from durable materials, ensuring that they will stand the test of time.

The Framus Strato Bass Guitar Neck Tuners are a perfect blend of function and form. They are not just essential for keeping your bass guitar in tune, but they also add a unique character to your instrument. Whether you're a seasoned musician or a guitar enthusiast, these tuners are a must-have for any Framus Strato Bass Guitar.

In conclusion, the 1960s Framus Strato Bass Guitar Neck Tuners are more than just hardware. They are a piece of musical history, a symbol of a time when craftsmanship and innovation were at their peak. They are a testament to the enduring quality and timeless design of Framus guitars.

Pros of buying 1960s Framus Strato Bass guitar neck tuners:

1. Authenticity: If the tuners are original to a 1960s Framus Strato Bass, they will add to the guitar's historical and collectible value.

2. Quality: Framus tuners were known for their high-quality construction and durability in the 1960s.

3. Aesthetics: The vintage design of the tuners can add a unique and attractive look to the guitar.

Cons of buying 1960s Framus Strato Bass guitar neck tuners:

1. Compatibility: If the tuners are not original to the guitar, they may not fit properly and may require modification or replacement of other parts.

2. Functionality: Older tuners may not have as smooth or precise action as modern tuners, making it more difficult to tune the guitar accurately.

3. Cost: Original Framus tuners can be expensive, especially if they are in good condition.

Conclusion: If you are looking to add authenticity and vintage appeal to your 1960s Framus Strato Bass, original tuners can be a great investment. However, be sure to do your research and consider compatibility and functionality before making a purchase. If cost is a concern, consider purchasing replicas or finding used tuners in good condition.

Recommendation: If you are unsure whether the tuners are original to your guitar, it is best to consult a professional luthier or expert. They can help you determine if the tuners are compatible with your guitar and whether they are worth the investment. If you are looking for a more cost-effective option, consider purchasing replicas or used tuners in good condition.

Details:

The Framus logo is brass if that helps with identification. A few of the tuners have teens bot play in them, but appear to be usable as they are. I am selling for a friend it was brought to me as shown. This listing is for a vintage Framus bass neck that I ascertain was originally mated to 1960s Strato model.

I have no way to test the truss rod unmounted, but neck looks straight. There is some indenting of the zero fret. The tuners may not be original as did resemble those I saw on Strato basses online.

Sold as-is due to age being for parts only, but can see no reason other than possibly needing some adjustment once mounted that it will not be a great neck your vintage Framus bass. Neck measures 30 long total from nut to 12th fret is for a scale length of it in excellent condition with only minor cosmetic wear its age.
