Cosmetically, the neck has a few marks. I have never had the neck mounted, and it may set up issues. When tightening to the counter clockwise it squeaks a lot. The sixth thru at the least ninth frets appear to have been filed see photos.
This is a straight neck with working two way truss rod. This indicates a defect of some kind, be it functional or cosmetic. With the truss rod tightened to counter clockwise position, neck will show just a little relief. This is an LTD AP-204 34 inch scale Bass Neck that has had the serial number partially defaced.
When the truss rod nut is tightened to clockwise position, neck will back bow as much you want.
